Basic Policy on Personal Information Protection

Samurai Co., Ltd.(“Samurai”) has formulated the following Privacy Policy for the safety management and appropriate use of the personal information. We value our clients’ privacy and promise to make all efforts to protect the personal information that we keep.

Compliance with laws and regulations
When handling personal information, we comply with all laws and other regulations including “Act on the Protection of Personal Information (promulgated on 30 May 2003, Act No.57)”, regarding the protection of personal information.

Appropriate use of personal information
The purpose of using personal information will be clarified on the site and/or in any written documents. Personal information will only be used to achieve its appropriate purpose. We make every effort to clarify the purpose of using personal information.
For example, we restrict it by clients' profile and/or by client's own choice. Regarding how to get information, the source of information and/or the way how we get it are/is shown in details as possible as we can.

Use of authorized designated credit bureau
Personal information that is registered to our authorized (member) designated credit bureau shall not be used other than purpose to check repayment capability.
4.
Safety measures
We make efforts to implement proper safety measures to prevent unauthorized access, loss, destruction, falsification, or leakage of the personal information that we keep.
5.
Disclosure to third parties
We will not disclose personal information to any third parties without her/his prior permission.
6.
Consign of personal information
When we outsource the handling of personal information, we will select a subcontractor based on our prescribed standards.
In addition, we will conduct necessary and appropriate supervision of the subcontractor, by entering a contract concerning the handling of personal information with the subcontractor to ensure security control measures.
In order to make efforts to ensure the transparency of the handling of the information, we will report to the client whether or not to outsource and explain the content of such outsourced clerical work.

Maintenance and improvement
We educate all our staff regarding handling of personal information and regularly audit their work to ensure our standards are achieved.
We act in accordance with Privacy Policy and make continuous efforts to improve our compliance standard.

Our staff will make every effort to respond to such requests as promptly as possible. When you ask us to stop sending mails to you, we stop it.
